Purpose of Data Collection, Processing and Use

TOM TAILOR Holding AG (TOM TAILOR), and its affiliated companies (collectively the TAILOR TOM Group) respect the privacy of every person who visits one of our sites. We always collect, process and use personal data in compliance with statutory regulations, in particular the Telemedia Act and the federal Privacy Protection Act.

Data Collection

When you visit our websites, we do not collect and store any personal information (such as name, address, phone number, e-mail address or credit card information), except for information which you provide voluntarily or which is automatically collected through cookies (see below).

Some of our websites may ask you to provide personal information, such as your name, mailing address or e-mail address, e.g. in the context of offers to send information by e-mail, subscribe to newsletters, or participate in prize draws and giveaways. In such cases, you may choose to voluntarily provide your personal data.

Data Use

TOM TAILOR stores your personal data and uses it, e.g. to communicate with you to answer your questions, or to send you information or promotional material of the TOM TAILOR Group electronically (esp. via e-mail) or by regular mail.

TOM TAILOR will never disclose your personal data to third parties outside the TOM TAILOR Group without your consent. Under privacy protection law, external service providers who process your personal information on our behalf (data processors) do not count as third parties due to strict contractual obligations. Such data processors are obligated to follow our instructions, and may not use your data for any purposes other than those originally agreed.

As part of the purposes listed in this statement, e.g. the implementation of information and promotion campaigns, your personal data may be transmitted to companies in the TOM TAILOR Group whose privacy protection levels are not comparable with those set by the EU. In these cases, we will of course ensure that your personal data enjoy the level of protection stipulated within the EU.

Personal information we collect from you in connection with applications are used only for the purposes of the application process and recruiting you. This information is accessible to all persons within the TOM TAILOR Group who are in charge of personnel management and/or your recruitment.

Your Rights

You may at any time object to the processing or use of personal data, obtain information about the personal data we have stored for you, or have your personal data corrected, deleted or blocked. In the event that you give us electronic consent, you may at any time revoke the consent granted, with effect from that point onward.

Cookies

When you visit our websites, we may automatically store Cookies or similar files on your computer. Cookies are small files that allow us, for example, to better adapt our website to your specific interests. TOM TAILOR takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from loss, tampering, or fraudulent use.

TOM TAILOR and other companies in the TOM TAILOR Group are not liable third-party content that can be accessed by hypertext links from our sites. Many links on our websites link to content that is not stored on TOM TAILOR Group servers. Before we link to a third-party website, we review it, to the extent feasible, for illegal and criminal content. However, we cannot rule out that content is subsequently changed by its publishers. Therefore, we expressly point out that we don't condone third-party content by linking to their websites. TOM TAILOR is not obliged to review such content.
